Conference e-mail:

Dear participants,

In a few days the Organizing Committee of the HESPEROS conference will have the pleasure of welcoming you to Ioannina. We hope that you have already made arrangements for your journey and accommodation, with the help of the options we had proposed.

(see http://hesperos-aegaeum-16.conf.uoi.gr/Hesperos-Hotels.pdf).

May we remind you that the time scheduled for each communication is 15 minutes and we ask you to strictly adhere to it so that there will be time for discussion at the end of each session. We expect that you will deliver your PowerPoint presentations to the operator of the computer system in the conference hall during the intermission preceding your session.

Transportation of participants from the city to the conference hall and back will be provided by a University of Ioannina bus. The bus will depart from the Ioannina central square in front of the Prefecture building (Nomarchia) every morning at 8.30 exactly, and will return you to the same point after the end of the day's sessions. A taxi stand and a city bus stop can be found near the Prefecture building as well, c. 100 m further up the street. The taxi ride costs c. 6 euro. If you prefer the city bus (nr 16), allow for extra time, for it is slow and will drop you at some distance from the conference center.

The secretariat of the HESPEROS conference will ensure that upon your registration you receive the conference programme and abstracts, as well other pertinent information.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you require further instructions.

Until we meet at Ioannina,
The Organizing Committee of the HESPEROS conference.
